The Feathered Unicorn began as a dream, and like a unicorn, it is rare and one of a kind. The feather stands as a blessing over the shop and over every maker who creates within it. Our purpose is simple: to help creatives turn their passion into reality.

If you paint, sew, throw pottery, crochet, work with wood, or design something all your own, we offer you a real storefront on Main Street without the cost and risk of opening one yourself. Vendors rent booth or shelf space under a simple agreement, and once you sign on, you receive your own profile page on this website with a bio, photos, and links to where else you sell online. Most consignment shops never offer that, and it helps new customers find you long after they leave the store.

We run as a collaborative community rather than a shop with a single owner and a staff. Our makers meet regularly and have a real say in how the store grows. The back room is free for vendors to use for classes, workshops, and work sessions during our scheduled Open Crafting Time.

Our shelves are reserved for original, handmade work, so we never buy finished items outright. We do welcome donations of craft supplies, and we sell some of those supplies so other makers can put them to use.
